Career Fairs
YBC Team Leaders have the pleasure of attending career fairs across the province educating the youth on the opportunities within the insurance industry as an insurance broker. One of the YBC’s missions is to assist in the perpetuation of the industry. We are currently in an industry that has an aging population. This allows for great opportunity for the next generation entering the workforce in order to find a rewarding career within an insurance brokerage or aiding them in the creation of their own.Student Life Expo 2009 – September 25 – 27
A team of YBC volunteers came together this past September to connect and meet with a large group of Senior High School students at the 2009 Student Life Expo in Toronto. The event provided YBC with an opportunity to be an exhibitor, and communicate the benefits and opportunities associated with being a professional insurance broker. Student Life Expo was developed with the vision to help Senior High School students learn about the choices ahead, be inspired about the future, to provide fun and entertainment, while helping them explore their many options at this pivotal time in their Life.
